About Brittany

I am Brittany.  How am I Bones?  Well, I just am.  But, I guess I can tell you.

First, I am a college junior Martin Methodist College.  I play for the RedHawks Women's Golf Team, write for our campus newspaper The RedHawk Reporter, and I am a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and the Fellowship for Christian Athletes.

Pause for a breath.  Okay.

With a major in Biology and minors in Criminal Justice and Media & Cultural Studies, I plan to be a forensic scientist.

Writing is my passion.  I always had a creative side because I read so much, just never a way to express my creativity.  My high school journalism/newspaper class helped me find my passion.  I could create vivid images out of simple words and punctuation.  Even my college newspaper advisor was amazed.  I've also been told by an NAIA employee that my work was of senior level.  And, I will always be indebted to my high school teacher who taught me how to write.  From her, I learned that writing can be your best friend, and it has ever since my sophomore year of high school.

So, I am taking writing to the ultimate level.  I am writing a novel.  I don't know when I will finish it, but I will finish it.  After that, I might write another.  It's a work in progress.  To satisfy my growing withdrawals, I write poems and a few short stories but more so poems.  Oh, I can't forget the blog posts.  They usually describe what's on my mind or some issue that has been bothering me lately.  I never really know what I am going to write until I write it.

The spontaneous writer.  An avid reader.  An awesome golfer.  Future in forensics.

I am Brittany.  These are my Bones.
